Genuine satin spar selenite is semi-translucent, with some occasional chatoyancy. These beads are beautifully dyed and brightly polished. 

Selenite is a relatively soft stone, about a 2-3 Moh's hardness, and should be protected from prolonged exposure to moisture.

Exact color, pattern, shape, and size may vary slightly due to the natural material and lapidary process.
